Roc Fitness was launched by Reece O’Connor who is a dedicated and passionate fitness trainer / nutritionist on mission to improve and promote a healthier lifestyle, and Reece needed a logo to promote his business which would reach out to Individuals, couples and family’s.
This logo is distanced from the fitness industry stereotypes so that it can be inclusive of all types of people, and to achieve this I used a vintage badge logo which includes a variety of fonts which symbolically reflect different traits. ‘ROC’ is bold to capture power/strength and the reflection in the ‘OC’ in ‘ROC’, mirrors the notion of body symmetry, whereas ‘FITNESS’ has a soft but well balanced posture to represent core strength/reliability and lastly ‘est. 2014’ is soft and fluid to capture movement/finesse. The dumbbell highlights fitness and the circular boarder features leaves for nutrition. Lastly, this logo was made up of both angular and curved features to promote strength, power and determination alongside a friendly, supportive and non competitive demeanour.
